For over 125 years, there has been one overriding factor driving our family-run business: We are already thinking about the future today. Solutions that help to conserve important resources – with the technologies for managing the raw materials of our customers from industries processing primary and secondary raw materials.
We have always developed and delivered superior magnet technology and state-the-art sensor technology for sorting and products to promote responsible interactions with our environment. Technologies, which allow our customers to generate added value in their field of work, be it waste and metal recycling (recovery of secondary raw materials) or primary production of raw materials in the mining industry.
We are driven by our pioneering spirit of innovation. Our in-house development department, and close links with universities and research institutes guarantee us a leading, innovative capacity, enabling our customers around the world to recovery valuable materials in their purest form.
Staff in our ANOFOL® division anodise strips of aluminium and produce high-precision coils for our STEINERT magnetic separators and other electrical engineering applications.
With subsidiaries in the USA, Australia, Latin America and Germany and more than 50 sales partnerships, we maintain a presence close to our customers all around the globe. In this way, our knowledge and our technologies make work in the waste, metal recycling, and mining sectors simpler and more efficient all around the world – and ensure even longer-lasting success.
As a family-run business founded in 1889, with the power and experience of our history behind us, and always with one eye on the future, we are well positioned to continue our independent, long-term and sustainable approach.
We communicate openly and our style of management is cooperative. Differences of opinion are managed with mutual respect and high esteem for one another. By offering young people the opportunity to train at STEINERT, we get their working lives off to a great start. We do, of course, also help students working on their undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD theses as we consider this an ideal way of linking science and real life. We also consider this both an investment and a responsibility that we take very seriously. This enables us to communicate our passion for exploring the best sorting solutions and guarantee them a secure future.
We greatly value long-term partnerships and fair relations with our suppliers and co-operating partners because they are a key element of our success.
For us, quality means not just manufacturing faultless and reliable products, but also continually refining their quality and technology in order to meet the exacting requirements of our customers. In line with this approach and to meet the specified objectives, we have set up a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and are continually improving it.
