The STEINERT PLASMAX | LIBS has leveled up

3 (Alloy-)Products in 1 sorting run and now featuring a 1-meter working width. Our latest LIBS sorting system nearly doubles its throughput capacity, processing up to 11 tons per hour — setting a new benchmark for sorting aluminum alloys into melt-ready fractions.

With its enhanced dual-valve-bar design, the system efficiently generates three sorted products in a single run: two positive eject fractions and one drop fraction. This enables precise separation of 5xxx and 6xxx series alloys or tailored grade splits to meet the exacting needs of the automotive and industrial aluminum sectors.

At the core:

  • 3 sorting products in one batch — thanks to dual valve bars
  • Multi-spot LIBS analysis with multiple laser lines
  • Remarkable throughput due to increased working width
  • Optimized 2-stage feeding for perfect belt loading

More choice, more flexibility:

The new 1-meter version complements the existing 0.6-meter PLASMAX sorting system — which remains available. This expanded machine portfolio gives our customers the flexibility to choose the ideal setup based on desired throughput, application, and plant layout.

Take your aluminum sorting to the next level. Maximize value with our upgraded STEINERT PLASMAX | LIBS, designed for cleaner, faster results.
