Upgrade for even finer aluminium alloy fractions
STEINERT PLASMAX LIBS sorting systems are in use around the world. An upgrade has now been developed based on thousands of operating hours of these systems. In future, even finer aluminium fractions can be separated according to alloy components.
Product innovation for complex metal flows
The STEINERT SteelMaster Compact has been specially designed for demanding metal flows with a small particle size. Typical applications include the advanced cleaning of Fe concentrates, the removal of iron from copper concentrates, the processing of shredded meatballs and the sorting of WEEE material flows.
Mixed metal granulates
The STEINERT MSort AK chute sorting system enables reliable colour sorting of metals in the particle range from 0.5 to 60 mm. It can also be used to efficiently clean mixed material streams and recover high-quality metal fractions.
Food-grade PET materials
For food-grade PET materials, consistent separation of food and non-food packaging is essential. As both types of packaging are chemically identical, conventional NIR systems reach their limits here. The AI-based sorting program STEINERT Intelligent Object.Identifier (IOI), on the other hand, enables precise differentiation and exceptional separation. With the example of Cirrec, STEINERT has demonstrated that this technology comes into its own in industrial continuous operation.
Construction and Demolition waste
Rising landfill costs and stricter recycling rates make clean separation of mineral fractions economically attractive. At its trade fair stand, STEINERT will be demonstrating how magnet and sensor technology interact in the sorting of construction and demolition waste at SORTAG. The MSort colour sorting technology further expands the range of applications for separating mineral fractions such as concrete, bricks and asphalt.
Safely eject refractory ceramic/HR glass
The detection of heat-resistant glass using more than just visible wavelengths is an alternative to X-ray technology. This is demonstrated by STEINERT MSort with new technology. The result is the detection and removal of heat-resistant glass, ceramics, stones, porcelain (CSP) and metal along with sorting by colour, in just one step. A big advantage is that the MSort can be installed in existing sorting systems.
